USA vs UK Street Dance Championships held at Wembley in London ! All I can say is WOW! Firstly we took part in two back 2 back workshops with one of the USA 's top choreographers and the main guy from “Boy Blue” company representing the UK . It was a battle between 2 nations to see who had the best routines and the best dancers. The first workshop by the US choreographer was mainstream Hip Hop to one of Missey Elliott's fine tracks, and the second taken by the UK choreographer was a mix between street, popping & locking that flowed smoothly from one to the other. Then onto the main event! A show of some of the finest dancers ever seen. UK dancers who have danced in the Nike Ads, Fat Man Scoop & Jamelia and the USA dancers who have performed with Mario, Missey Elliott & B2K! The crème of the crop. The crews had to battle it out and in the end there can only be one winner – the UK ! The Americans were very close but the English just beat them! After the show we got to meet all the dancers & my students was so star struck after receiving hugs & kisses from them all! An absolutely amazing day! Can't wait for next year!
